My name is Tenzing Sherpa, and I am an academic interested in the intersections of science and religion, particularly the interplay and social frameworks of religious experience and quantification. My thesis, titled "Embodied Mysticism: Exploring the Nechung Oracle at the Center of Science and Religion," examines how Cognitive Neuroscience can be used to analyze and understand trance states in the Tibetan Buddhist context.
I aspire to work at the intersection of technology and cognitive research, advancing interdisciplinary inquiry that bridges cultural contextual communities with modern scientific approaches.
